Pictures: Netflix and Warner Bros. Pictures
It’s time to review all the new releases scheduled to hit Netflix throughout the final week of June 2024. It’s going to be a jam-packed week with lots of new arrivals, whether that’s licensed TV series, big Netflix Originals, or some big movies on the way.
As we approach a new month, you’ll want to familiarize yourself with all the July 2024 releases. We just learned a bunch more that’s on the way, so keep it here for the latest. As always, when we cross into a new month, there’ll be a lot of movies set to depart. We picked out 17 that should be on your radar here, plus you can find the full list of July departures here.
Coming to Netflix: Friday
We’ve been waiting a long time for this movie. Headlined by Joey King, Nicole Kidman, and Zac Efron, the rom-com sees an unexpected romance blossom between a mother and her boss, quickly spiraling into a web of lies and complications.
Coming to Netflix: Tuesday
Let’s be honest, the story surrounding the run-up to this movie is just as fascinating as the movie itself. It is one of the movies that bookends the DC movie universe as James Gunn takes over the reins.
Starring the embattled star Ezra Miller, the movie sees the Flash traveling back in time to change past events.
Sadly, you won’t be able to do a complete DC movie binge on Netflix, given that all of the DC movies departed Netflix throughout the early months of the year.
Coming to Netflix: Thursday
Sticking with superheroes for our final pick, we have Supacell that’s the latest new series to originate from the United Kingdom. In the works for years now, the series comes from Rapman and is about a group of Black Londoners who all develop superpowers.
This series is definitely currently flying under the radar, which could mean that Netflix doesn’t necessarily have too much faith in it. That said, they didn’t have much faith in Baby Reindeer and look how that turned out.
The cast of the new six-episode series includes Michael Salami, Eddie Marsan, Adelayo Adedayo, Destiny Viva, and Travis Jay.
Please Note: This list is primarily for Netflix in the United States. Other regions’ lineups will vary. The daily additions, complete with posters, title information, and trailers, can be found via our New on Netflix hub page.
