One of the biggest Syfy pickups Netflix made over the past decade was the ambitious but shortly-lived sci-fi horror series based on the George R.R. Martin book.
Released over the course of 10 episodes, the series followed a group of scientists and a telepath who find a seemingly abandoned spaceship that’s full of secrets.
Among the cast for the series included Eoin Macken, David Ajala, Jodie Turner-Smith, Angus Sampson, Sam Strike, Maya Eshet, Brían F.

Netflix is expanding its lineup of kids’ shows with an unexpected new DC license. The pre-school animation series that airs on Cartoon Network via Cartoonito and on Max (previously HBO Max) will join the Netflix US library tomorrow.
The show was first announced in October 2020, with 37 episodes released between September 2022 and September 2023, with a second season ongoing from January 2024.

Among the surprise announcements for the December Netflix lineup was the inclusion of the South African-produced animated movie Seal Team which will be arriving globally on December 31st, 2021. Other Netflix regions will also likely receive Seal Team although it will vary region-to-region.
The movie, directed by Greig Cameron and co-directed by Kane Croudace sees a group of seals team up to against the gang of sharks who have been terrorizing their neighborhood.

A new report and update to the support pages confirms that the Netflix Windows app available from the Microsoft Store is about to undergo a big overhaul in design and features with some additions and one big removal.
Set to arrive in June 2024, according to the Windows Latest report, the Windows App will be getting an update “to offer a consistent, quality experience for our members,” says a support representative to the outlet, adding, “The new version will now include access to live events, compatibility with ad-supported plans, and more.
