Picture: Netflix Dirty Money, Netflix’s investigative documentary series that dove into corrupt businesses and greed, won’t be returning for any additional episodes, according to director and executive producer Alex Gibney. First released on Netflix in 2018 with a follow-up season in 2020, Dirty Money dove into numerous companies and individuals, including Donald Trump, Volkswagon, HSBC, Jared Kushner, Wells Fargo, and others, shining a like on either greed, corruption, or both.

Freeridge – Picture: Netflix Netflix is set to release a new spinoff to the hit teen series, On My Block which came to an end in October 2021. We’ve got all the details about the new series so far, plus some additional insights into the characters that will feature in Freeridge.  On My Block has been one of the shining examples of Netflix’s comedy lineup in recent years. The show debuted on Netflix in March 2018 and is now headed into its fourth and final season on Netflix.

Picture: Netflix Last summer, the Arnold Schwarzenegger action-comedy series FUBAR was given a second season renewal just a month after season 1 premiered in May 2023. Due to the strikes, production hasn’t managed to get underway on the second season as of yet but that’ll soon change with filming dates now set for the upcoming season 2. News of filming dates come from the Directors Guild of Canada, which has just updated its website with a new swanky version.

Gamera: Rebirth – Picture. Kadokawa Gamera, the iconic Kaiju turtle, returns for a brand new anime series on Netflix. Now in production, the 6 part anime will excite many long-time fans, and introduce a brand new generation to one of Japan’s most iconic monsters. Coming to Netflix in September 2023, here’s everything we know so far. Gamera: Rebirth is an upcoming Japanese Netflix Original anime series directed by Shusuke Kaneko, who previously directed Death Note.

Picture: Griselda – Grand Electric Having just arrived on Netflix, there will be plenty of subscribers streaming Griselda, Netflix’s latest Latin American crime drama centered on the infamous “Black Widow” Griselda Blanco. For those unaware, a second season isn’t happening, and we’re here to explain why.  Griselda is a Netflix Original crime drama series created by the team behind the beloved Narcos franchise. The series is centered around the life of the infamous Colombian drug queen, Griselda Blanco, played by Sofía Vergara, and the chokehold she had on the drug scene in Miami, Florida, in the 1980s.

Picture: Netflix Despite the ongoing Hollywood strikes, Netflix UK continued to commission and begin production on new shows and movies throughout 2023. One of these new productions is a movie called Joy, based on the true story of the world’s first in vitro fertilization baby starring Bill Nighy, James Norton, and Thomasin Mackenzie. Coming on the 7th of December is Netflix Original Mowgli: The Legend of the Jungle. While there are many films to release over the holidays season, we’re really excited to watch Andy Serkis’ take on the classic story. Mulligan – Cr. Courtesy of Netflix © 2024 Netflix has just unveiled its May 2024 lineup, and among the titles coming up is a surprise return of the adult animated sitcom series Mulligan, which will return for its second part a year after the first batch of episodes released onto the service. Tina Fey and Robert Carlock are behind the animated series, first announced in March 2020. Netflix ordered the series with 20 episodes up front, which it has split into a release of two seasons or, as Netflix dubbed it, parts.
