The Walking Dead has now wrapped airing its eleventh and final supersized season on AMC and will touch down on Netflix in the United States in January 2023 (other regions will differ).
Adapting the comics of the same name, the show has been a staple on both AMC and Netflix (depending on where you live) for years. Netflix US has carried the show since 2014, with new seasons arriving every year thereafter (except season 10, which was delayed due to COVID-19).

We’re just over a week away from Christmas. If you’re already off work or beginning to wind down, Netflix has a few surprises in store over the next seven days with its new releases lineup. Here’s a rundown of everything set to arrive between December 18th and Christmas Eve 2024.

Arrowverse – The CW / Warner Brothers
The Arrowverse’s future on Netflix (at least in the United States) has now been secured going forward post-2019. Here’s what’s going to happen to your favorite Arrowverse shows on Netflix including Arrow, Black Lightning, Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash and Supergirl.

Devotion – Picture: Sony Pictures Releasing
Hoping to pick up on the momentum that carried Top Gun: Maverick to being one of the most successful movies of 2022 is Devotion, the new J.D. Dillard historical war drama. Hitting theaters exclusively in November 2022, the movie will eventually drop onto Netflix.
The 2-hour 18-minute movie sees Jonathan Majors play the role of Jesse Brown and Glen Powell playing Thomas J. Hudner. These are two elite US Navy fighter pilots who served during the Korean war and ultimately became the Navy’s most celebrated wingmen.

L.A.’s Finest was a surprise addition when it hit Netflix US in early 2021. As you may know, there was a season two produced for the show and that it would eventually join Netflix. Now we know when season 2 of L.A.’s Finest will be coming to Netflix.
The spinoff to the Bad Boys franchise ran on Spectrum Originals for two seasons before being canceled (more on this a little later) and starred Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba as two cops within the LAPD.

Aggretsuko is a Netflix Original anime series created and written by Rarecho. Previously appearing in TV shorts on the Japanese network TBS, the cutesy character with a heavy metal heart entertained fans immensely. There were over 100 episodes of the Aggretsuko shorts before the series was popularised worldwide with the release of the first full-length anime on Netflix.
