Scream 5 – Picture: Paramount The Scream franchise is back 25 years after it debuted back in 1996. Depending on where you live, the fifth Scream movie may come to Netflix but not for some time. In the United States, the movie won’t be hitting Netflix anytime soon if at all. Netflix notably has a connection to the Scream franchise given it carries global rights to the MTV TV series. As we’ll explore again shortly, the rights are muddly for the TV show.

Sadly, the wait will be even longer, as we recently learned that filming is being postponed and won’t begin until 2025. Here’s what we know so far. Picture: Netflix In February 2022, Netflix will be releasing a new animated interactive special called Cat Burglar. The series comes from Broke and Bones which is the brand new production company set up by Black Mirror creators Charlie Brooker and Annabel Jones.  The new interactive special was released on Netflix on February 22nd, 2022, around the globe. It adds to Netflix’s growing collection of interactive specials, which, with the release of Cat Burglar, will have grown to 18 titles in total.

D.P. season 1 is available to stream on Netflix Netflix consistently puts out great South Korean content, but the latest of its Original dramas, D.P. might just be one of the most popular releases since Love Alarm and Kingdom. Fans were already excited to learn that D.P. has been renewed for a second season and will be even more excited to learn that the series is confirmed to arrive in July 2023.
