Chronicling the trials and tribulations of Dream (Tom Sturridge) across his vast existence, ruling over the domain we all enter when we sleep, the show will officially return for more episodes based on multiple comic volumes.  With a reported eight episodes, season 2 started filming in June 2023. But, of course, the production has been put on pause due to the ongoing WGA writer’s strike and the SAG-AFTRA strike throughout Hollywood.

Two Distant Strangers – Picture: Netflix Accusations of plagiarism surrounding the Oscar-winning Netflix short Two Distant Strangers have been leveled from the creator of a similar YouTube short from 2016.  Two Distant Strangers is a Netflix short that Netflix picked up in March 2021 for release in April 2021 (shortly before the Oscars but after its initial Oscar nomination). It was originally released in November 2020. The short found on Netflix is directed by Travon Free and Martin Desmond Roe.

Violet Evergarden: The Movie – Kyoto Animation The end of Violet Evergarden nears with the release of Violet Evergarden: The Movie, which arrives on Netflix in October 2021. Picture: Netflix Netflix has acquired the distribution rights for a new thriller, Woman of the Hour, which revolves around serial killer Rodney Alcala and Cheryl Bradshaw, a contestant on the matchmaking TV show, The Dating Game. The movie premiered at TIFF in September and will soon be coming to Netflix. Woman of the Hour was directed by Oscar nominee Anna Kendrick, who also stars in it as the main lead.
