Bank of Dave, a Netflix Original movie in the United Kingdom and Ireland, is getting a sequel at Netflix.
Released on January 16th, 2023,Bank of Dave served as a biopic of Burnley native Dave Fishwick, who did the impossible and took on the big banks by establishing a thriving community bank.
The movie starred Joel Fry, Phoebe Dynevor, Rory Kinnear, Hugh Bonneville, Paul Kaye, and Jo Hartley.
Designated Survivor – Netflix
Designated Survivor was revived by Netflix for season 3 but it appears that it wasn’t able to put together a season 4 despite ending with a massive cliffhanger. Therefore Designated Survivor has been canceled.
Let’s quickly recap and introduce the show if you’re not familiar. The show led by Kiefer Sutherland is a political drama which sees Tom Kirkman become President of the United States after a bomb hits Capitol Hill during the state of the union.

Body horror Parasyte: The Grey landed on Netflix recently, and it’s already shaping up to be another successful K-drama release on the streaming service. Fans may question if a second season is on the cards, and if director Yeon Sang-Ho has his way, it will happen. However, renewal now rests in Netflix’s hands, and we are waiting for news of renewal from the streaming service.

Many regions of Netflix could soon be seeing the departure of Rick and Morty as the license comes up for renewal.
Set to leave on August 12th (or August 13th depending on your timezone) the series has been a fixture on many Netflix regions since 2016 with regions around the world slowly licensing earlier seasons of the AdultSwim series over the years.
As a result, Netflix currently holds global rights to Rick and Morty in every region outside the United States.

Netflix wants more shows like The Night Agent and to help aid that effort, they’ll be licensing seasons 1-5 of the hit series S.W.A.T. which shares an executive producer and showrunner with Netflix’s new megahit.
Update: Netflix has confirmed our reporting and added that seasons 1-5 of the show will be added on May 17th.

Netflix has developed yet another sci-fi series titled The Imperfects, which is eyeing a global September 2022 release on the service. The series will star Designated Survivor‘s Italia Ricci and will be developed by Nomadic Pictures, who also developed The Order, Wu Assassins, and The I-Land for Netflix.
Dennis Heaton and Shelley Eriksen are the duo behind the series. The pair, who previously created The Order for Netflix (sadly canceled after a short-run on the service), are also behind the scripts and the executive producers.
